Tweet of the week
The story behind this tweet: Crispin Porter + Bogusky and VW just ended their client/agency relationship after four years - and in response to that situation Alex Bogusky tweeted this. Hilarious...

Is Social Media good at embracing emotions?
My point is that the digital world is still not developed into embracing life as it is in the good and bad form. Social Media is still much about the good things, it is the few that embraces the less positive stuff going on in their life and that are motivated to share it with their connectors. It makes it less reliable or much more about posting things rather than emotions. I have picked my followers on Twitter for their passion for Social Media, so it makes it much more professional. My Twitter channel is mostly about Social Media – which could explain my view on this. What do you think? Is Social Media good at embracing emotions?
Lastly, I want to share an idea I got this week. Why isn´t it possible to hire a “surfer” for a couple of hours or a day. Somebody that can help you explore new things on the Web – or setting up your blog, or in some way just giving you a shot of inspiration. Just another thought…

Get to know pretentious Christian

My name is Christian. Co-founder of Blog Party. I have been active within the blogosphere for two years now. In periods I´m less active. Then I`m dedicated to the less exotic offline life. My online playground is marketear.me. During my two years of playing I have met several inspiring fellow bloggers, I have achieved to get Arla to change the name of their recipe wiki from cookipedia to madleksikon, tried to create and define a new emerging trend ”Branded Humanity” (figuring out afterwards that others had been discussing it before me), tried to get into dialogue with the Danish fashion magazine Euroman about their use of political advertisement (unfortunately they closed the discussion and thread. Dialogue my ass.), been doing a minor secret social experiment about the use of personas in blogging ”Dogma in a hyper-connected social reality version” (it was for sure a transcendent experience), experiencing an increased online addiction (some people don´t really understand it), achived to get the lead position in Google when typing Christian Hermansen (24 people in Denmark have that name), been able to organize and pick up inspiration bites from the blog, and finally meeting up with my online friend koolhunting.dk starting to define and do experiments within new areas. The birth of Blog Party.
11 Q´s for the blogger:
- What do you do for a living? I work as a media planner at a media agency. The agency is placed in CPH. I have been working there for 4 years now and I´m happy with it.
- Why marketear? It is a merge of marketer, tear, and musketeer. Covering marketing with emotions and a fighting twist.
- What is the first Google result that comes up when you Google your name? As I wrote in the introduction marketear.me. I´m proud to be in the lead position.
- Your favourite blog? My favourite blog is noahbrier.com. Extremely skilled and considerate guy always with plenty of awesome thoughts. Also the inventor of brandtags.net, an experiment I really liked. When looking into Danish blogs I prefer tveskov.com.
- Time spent on the internet daily? On a regular day I think I spent 3 hours. I´m not organized though, and I´m on the look for being more effective. Or maybe I´m not. I actually like the unstructured journeys.
- If you were a browser, which one would you be - Chromeo, Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox? It would be Firefox. It is for sure my favourite. Snappy and solid.
- What is the first thing you do in the morning? Open my eyes and then I grab my black bible. Yes, I am addicted.
- Your favourite social media books? ”Groundwell” by Forrester Research. And ”What Would Google Do” by Jeff Jarvis.
- Your favourite blogging platform? I started out with Blogger, but to be honest I prefer Wordpress, which is the platform we are using for Blog Party. Easier to handle and a lot more plug-ins.
- if you stranded on a deserted island what would you bring? My MacBook, a cold beer and my Tom Ford shades.
- The best online experiment of the year so far? tweaktoday.com - no doubt about that. A lot of fun.
Soon you get to meet pretentious Lars.

For the Danish people

It got my attention and if I was on the hunt for a new advertising agency I would definitely check Emaze out! They are creating the rare Wauw! effect for their clients. True Rock`n`Roll...
